Your supporters are more willing to support you, if they understand and support a few tangible goals, not a dozen throughout the year.
The vast majority of Americans still support fundraisers that they find are for a good cause. Statistics of 2005 to 2006 state that 8 out of 10 Americans, and 9 out of 10 parents, purchased a consumer item to support a fundraiser. And I think this is the obstacle facing organizations that they need to overcome. Most just do too many fundraisers throughout the year and burnout their audience. My suggestion is that they not only do fewer fundraisers but they choose their products as well as their events more carefully. I have seen many fundraiser events that were not very exciting if I can be polite.
