Seven Steps When Fundraiser Ends:

The ending of your fundraiser can be almost as exciting as the event, if you follow some simple steps and pay lots of attention to those that made it happen.

Be sure to reward all your volunteers who participated and supported you in your event, even if it can only be with acknowledgment. Make it known and make it important so everyone feels their participation really mattered.

Parent volunteers can sometimes feel left off the appreciation loop so don’t let this happen. Make sure to send a personal note of your appreciation for their support.
You might even express your gratitude in a tangible way, with a pair of complimentary passes to the next ticketed event, or an Autograph Shirt from SIGnaShirt Promotional Fundraisers with your organization’s logo on it.

Say it loud and state it clearly in your newsletters, in your email announcements, as well as online through your social networks. Make sure everyone who assisted in your event is acknowledged and appreciated.

And don’t forget to remind everyone who much fun your event was. If you created a contest with a SIGnaShirt Fundraiser Creativity-Craft Shirt Kit. Let everyone know who the winner was that created the most unique shirt. And ask everyone involved how future events can be improved upon.
